Flume pipe for the sawmill, Flume Casing, and valve for distillery.

This morning, I checked the mill and saw the pipefitters working on the pipeline that will channel water to power the sawmill, which will indeed be encased in wood. Mike and his team were busy with the flume's casing that connects the mill to the dam. The morning was quite harsh for outdoor work. The sluice gate is now in place, but we still need the linkage from the sluice gate into the mill to operate the valve that controls water flow over the wheel. Adjacent to the distillery, there's a valve at the base of the flume pipe set to supply fresh spring water for whiskey production, with hopes to have it operational by the end of next year. Thanks for all the cold hard work that the workers are doing to get the mill ready for next season.
